Lilith Pendant

Garnet is a curious mineral. In its natural state, it appears rough and devoid of light—hard, opaque, and seemingly without beauty when seen from the outside.

Yet, when granted care and attention—when patiently polished and tended—it reveals its true nature: a deep, purplish red, radiant and irresistibly captivating. It is no coincidence that throughout the centuries garnet has served as a metaphor for transformation forged through the hardships of battle. After all, what is love for oneself and for others, if not a battlefield?

I chose garnet with profound intention for this pendant line, as it becomes a symbol of our own hearts. At times, the heart hardens and grows dark under life’s blows; but if we allow ourselves to tend to our wounds, if we allow ourselves to believe in love, we too will shine like garnet—capable of fully loving ourselves, and then others.
