FAQ

Below is a professional, refined English translation that preserves the tone, warmth, and craftsmanship of your original text while elevating the language for an international audience.

Thanks to your suggestions, I have gathered a selection of questions that may naturally arise when exploring my jewelry. I will do my utmost to answer each one as clearly and thoroughly as possible.

Are your jewels handmade?

Yes. I personally create every single piece, overseeing each stage of the process—from the initial design to the final shipment.

Some of the jewels available in this shop are made using the lost-wax casting technique and artistic micro-sculpture, while others are crafted through traditional goldsmith soldering techniques.

All of these methods boast a millennia-old tradition in jewelry making. I like to think that by working entirely by hand, whoever chooses one of my jewels is acquiring a small artistic sculpture—unique, timeless, and made to endure.

Are the gemstones real? Where do they come from?

All the gemstones I use are sourced from various parts of the world and are carefully selected for their beauty and authenticity. For this reason, slight variations in color may occur between the stones shown in photographs and the one you receive.

Even when maintaining the same high quality, natural gemstones inevitably differ from one another. This is not only a hallmark of genuine stones, but also an added value: each gem is truly one of a kind, even when similar in shape or chemical composition.

What materials do you use?

I use 925 sterling silver for pieces made through casting, while jewels created using goldsmith soldering techniques are made with 950 silver, which contains a higher percentage of pure silver. This makes it more resistant to oxidation and allows for a slower, more gradual aging process.

By choice, approximately 90% of the silver I use is recycled, helping to reduce the exploitation of new natural resources. Like all noble metals, silver can be recycled infinitely without losing its intrinsic qualities.

Beyond benefiting the planet, this also means wearing a jewel whose metal has already lived many lives—an idea I personally find deeply fascinating.

I have very sensitive skin. Can I wear your jewelry?

All my jewels—down to the smallest component, including hooks, rings, and posts—are 100% nickel-free and made from high-quality, hypoallergenic silver. This makes them suitable for most people with sensitive skin.

However, in cases of specific or severe sensitivities, I recommend consulting a dermatologist, as I cannot assess individual medical conditions.

Can the jewelry be customized?

Absolutely. On the website you will find numerous customization options, from size to gemstone color and type, allowing you to create a jewel that truly reflects you—with just a few clicks.

How do I find my ring size?

I have dedicated an entire Size Guide to this topic, where you will find several methods to determine your perfect fit.

Keep in mind that our hands naturally change over time and with temperature: cold weather can reduce your size by up to one size, while heat may increase it. Don’t feel constrained to wearing a ring on only one finger—many people enjoy moving rings between fingers or hands as the seasons change.

Do your jewels tarnish?

A necessary premise: all silver jewelry oxidizes naturally due to its chemical composition. To make silver wearable, it must be alloyed, and some of the alloy components naturally oxidize over time.

This process can be slow or relatively quick, depending on several factors, and it does not stain skin or clothing. What influences oxidation?

  • Skin pH (more acidic skin can accelerate tarnishing)

  • Humid environments

  • Salinity

  • Thermal baths (sulfur is silver’s greatest enemy and will cause rapid blackening)

That said, tarnishing is normal and completely reversible. It has nothing to do with the quality of the silver, but rather with environmental factors and care habits.

How should I care for my jewelry?

Proper care begins with storage. Keep your jewelry in a dry place, away from heat sources and direct sunlight—especially if set with natural gemstones.

The box in which I ship your jewel is ideal for this purpose. Inside, you will always find a small silica gel sachet that absorbs moisture and helps preserve your piece.

If your jewel loses its shine over time, gently polish it with a suede or silver-cleaning cloth. For deeper cleaning, simply wash it under lukewarm water using a soft toothbrush and mild dish soap.

Avoid abrasive or aggressive substances such as baking soda, salt, vinegar, lemon, or similar agents, as they permanently damage the surface, increase oxidation, and ruin mirror polishing.

Do you offer a warranty?

Yes. I offer a 30-day warranty from the date of purchase covering manufacturing defects. Should you notice any technical issue, contact me and I will gladly assist you in finding a solution.

What payment methods do you accept?

I accept major payment methods, including credit/debit cards and PayPal.

All transactions are secure and encrypted to protect your personal data.

What are the shipping times?

Shipping times vary depending on the item.

  • Ready-to-ship jewels: dispatched within 5–7 days (I ship on Tuesdays only)

  • Personalized jewels (especially rings made to measure): approximately 10 days from order confirmation

As each jewel is handmade, slightly longer timelines are sometimes inherent to artisanal craftsmanship.

You can find a detailed explanation of shipping for Italy and abroad on the dedicated shipping page.

Can I return or exchange a jewel?

Yes. I invite you to read the Returns Policy, where you will find full details regarding conditions and timelines.

How can I track my order?

Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email with tracking information so you can follow your parcel every step of the way.

Can I request gift packaging?

Of course. If your purchase is a gift, simply email me your order number and instructions, and I will add a ribbon to the jewelry box.

What will I find inside my order?

Your order arrives in a recycled yellow outer envelope. Inside, you will find a protective 100% recycled cardboard box with FSC certification.

The package includes:

  • Your jewel in its dedicated box

  • Red tissue paper

  • A care brochure

  • Stickers
